2. Calcium

The body converts foods that are rich in beta-carotene into vitamin A. Such foods include carrots, bell peppers, sweet potatoes, salmon, apricots, pumpkin, and liver.


7. Potassium


Potassium is essential for healthy bone development and maintenance. Potassium is an electrolyte that helps control the amount of water and salt in bodily fluids like saliva. It also helps to maintain healthy gums by halting the breakdown of the jaw alongside other dental components. As a blood clotting agent, potassium aids in the healing process of dental cuts and bleeding. Foods high in potassium include avocados, bananas, potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, and beans.
